UIDAI Aadhaar Photo Standards
According to the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), identity document submissions and biometric records should follow these guidelines:
- Photo Dimensions: 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm (Standard Passport Proportions)
- File Size: 20 KB to 100 KB (Maximum 100 KB)
- Format: .JPG / .JPEG
- Background: Plain white background without shadows or patterns.
- Facial Expression: Neutral expression, both eyes open, looking directly into the camera.
